I know tons of people have commented on this masterpiece already but I feel the need to make another one. First of all the plot, the conclusion, the acting, and the narration are classic. Morgan Freeman can make a movie just with his voice (but for the record this movie is so good it doesn't need it.
There's no action or explosions just great actors committing to their roles and making it seem as if you know the characters personally.
When I had just finished watching this the other night, I started watching Family Guy and a joke about Andy Dufresne and the sisters came on. Although I didn't find it to be very funny I thought to myself "Hey I know that movie!
When I finished watching it I thought about how it good it was and how it made me feel about myself for a good day and a half.
If you like movies that are not just put out to entertain watch this movie, trust me you won't be disappointed.
